We are proud of the work carried out this year, in connection with the next 10th birthday of the gallery and the putting in beauty of its site of Republic. We asked the main artists with whom we worked for eight years to participate this new year in exhibitions with Republic. We invited them to propose us a work and to us to confide her for quite or left the season 2011-2012. Susan Bottrell works on the correspondences, assembles letters, fragments of his history. She works on the thread: his imprint is the one of a tightrope walker. The thread of its paint, which she pulls as she pulls the sons of the fabric whom she installs, opens immediate and lightning spaces. Susan Bottrell's paint is at the same time modern and alchemical, opens on a breathtaking contemporary.
